Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in the materials we use to create our products. All of our ranges are made with 100% sustainable fabrics, which not only helps to reduce our carbon footprint but also minimizes the amount of waste that ends up in landfills and oceans. For instance, our swimwear is made with a blend of 78% recycled PA and 22% elastane, while our mesh material is comprised of 90% recycled polyester and 10% elastane.
At Litora our production process takes place entirely in the UK for season 2, starting and ending at our base in London. By manufacturing locally, we have reduced our carbon emissions and can regularly visit our factory. Our factories exclusively use recycled materials, aligning with our commitment to sustainability and sharing our ethos, and values in sustainability.
Our commitment is to provide you with timeless, high-quality designs that will remain stylish for years to come. Keeping in mind that everyone has unique preferences and body shapes, we design our swimwear to be mix and matched so that you can choose the styles you feel confident in. We create our swimwear with you in mind, so you can enjoy your pieces season after season.
Our commitment lies in maintaining low inventory levels. This approach enables us not to add to the waste problem which we consider essential.
Aside from our swimwear, we use biodegradable shipping materials and reusable bags for every order packaged.
We also have partnered with CleanHub. For each purchase made 1lb of plastic pollution will be disposed off preventing it ending up in our oceans. CleanHub is an organisation on a mission to free our planet from plastic pollution. Why are we following that path? We are convinced that using plastic comes with responsibility. Through CleanHub we are able to act on that responsibility and invest in resilient waste management solutions across Asia.
